Our Work

We are researchers and educators with backgrounds in a variety of disciplines, using anthropological approaches to holistically incorporate our experiences in a robust and meaningful way. As educators we have taught at institutions, conducted workshops, and developed trainings in Canada, Federated States of Micronesia, and the United States of America. We have done work in a variety of research areas with a focus on food security and sovereignty, cultural revitalization, fisheries, law and policy, health promotion, cultural landscapes, and conservation.  We have conducted fieldwork and participated in academic conferences in a variety of settings including: Oceania, Asia, Africa, Latin America, North America, and Europe.  We draw from our existing network and leverage our experience to provide expertise and real world solutions and training opportunities to our collaborators and clients.
